Gary Gygax

I just read that Gary Gygax passed. He did alot for me as a gamer, I cut my teeth on D&D. With out D&D I would have never found Star Wars RPG. Its always sad when one of the good ones goes.

I got a chance to meet him last year at Gencon. Now I'm glad I had the opportunity.

From the age of 12 to the age of 20 I never missed a thursday evening of 3d6 and saving throws and Mt Dew. I never met Gary Gygax, but I got a feeling I knew him as any reader gets a feeling they know their favorite author. I will miss him.
