If I was gonna do a boba I would put most of my attention to making a real accurate blaster like they did in the films. the rest would be great and awsome detail to attention but the blaster would get the most sttention.

But its comming along nicly. CAnt wait to see it finished.

Its on hold til I get my gauntlets back from the guy thats repairing them. They had stress cracks all over them. Right now, I'm tearing my MR helmet apart, painting the inside black, adding a helmet liner, and a corrected visor.

Master Replicas and Fettpride... The outside pic of the helmet on the first page is a Don Post 95 though.

Ah cool, how does the MR compare in size to the others?

Devilstar2k2
05-20-2008, 04:08 AM
Its pretty big... Bigger than a Mystery, BKBT, DP, or Bobamaker. Thats about all that I can give you on that. Those are the only helmets that I've ever owned.

Hasid Lafre
05-20-2008, 09:50 AM

That turned out fantastic! The weathering on the helmet is almost a dead on match for the helmet you compared it to!

I like his weathering better than the example he used. :)

Nice. Looks like you guys had a good time.

Well, the kids did. Hard to tell about you guys when you have your faces covered. ;)

Some "family portraits" there. Father and son and "brothers". :p

Who's the Wookiee? I don't remember what Rebel Legion Base your Garrison works with. If you tell me the Base, then I can figure out who he is, if you don't know.

Devilstar2k2
12-15-2009, 04:46 PM
Thats a guy from our Garrison named Marty. Not sure who he is with outside of Carida. From what I've read, Marty debuted his Chewy just this past Oct./Nov.

If Tazrob see's this, he should be able to clarify everything. I'm a noob... I don't know jack about our garrison yet. lol... Still getting to know everyone. =)

Jedi-Loreen
12-15-2009, 06:16 PM
Ok, I know who Marty is, he's a member of Echo Base. I thought that was him, just from the chain around Chewie's neck.

Very nice. I'm sure a lot of blood, sweat, and credits went into that. Well, it payed off. Looks great!

And as a former "costume character" get your self in front of a mirror or video camera. Find about 5-7 good poses and rotate through those. Watch the character in the movie, then film yourself attempting the same poses. You'll soon see how to make the costume work for you. It's a lot like puppetry in some ways.

Wow, that is some really amazing work! That's something I've wanted for years and years and years. Your costume looks pretty spot on to me my friend :) I can't see any details left out or any changes needed to be made. Even if you could wear the costume better, you looked freakin awesome in it in all those pics. I didn't notice anything off about your cape or belts. Wow....

I can't wait to finish my jedi costume so I can get a Loreen review :D

I personally think that your constructive criticisms are really helpful.
