The basic design here isn't too different from alot of what I've seen using the Obi emitter. The activation box is from Parks and is used only to cover over the stock switch mounting. I've superglued a few items such as surface boards, gold IR transistor and regular trans and a small chip onto the sides of the box for visual interest. The box does serve to keep the switch from being depressed accidentally as the switch is nearly flush with the top surface(it doesn't take much to push this momentary down). Aside from that and the brass strip handgrips which I adopted after putting them on my first saber this hilt is pretty much no frills and simple. The green K2 is AMAZING for brightness!!!! I intend to get my hands on some advanced black solution and take a shot at some mild weathering in the future.

That control box is interesting. Think you could take a larger picture of it? I'd like to see more of the details.

The opposite side also has the surface boards mounted but there is only a small chip attached. The close ups make it look large but it's really not so obtrusive as a whole on the hilt:

I like this one a lot. Simple and complex at the same time!

Well done!
