And I'm sorry if you think i'm a hypocryte who has never built an mhs saber. I have built two for a friend but this is my first saber with some sound, and there will be more to come. But I just need a speaker and this thing is fin.

Oh and my neighbor is a machinist and so he took the solid chanfered pommel that Tim used to sell, bored it out, and made me a one of a kind custom mps insert made of 1/8" thick stainless steel.

Hopefuly you can see it.

Powder coating is a nice, clean look. Really don't see enough color on hilts here. That's blue is just nice and shiny... rather slick looking.

I was never sure about the powder coating until I saw that blue. I'd love to see a grenade with blue grooves and a polished aluminum surface.

Well thank you. I am really proud to own this saber; for now; that is, its automatically going on ebay when its finished.

I like it. What "color" powder coating is the rest of the hilt? (besides the blue)

Its steel gray. The blue is called candy apple blue or candy blue.

I'm loving that one of a kind speaker grill!

The color scheme is cool. I like the way the gray looks, and the blue really jumps out at you! I assume that you are going with a blue blade on this, right? I think that would look awesome!

Yeah it probably would look cool but I had all the guts finished way before I got it powdercoated. So the blade is a green lux lll. And the holes around the switch hole is for two leds,[decorative] the top one is white and the bottom one is blue, and they are set in a couple chrome holders from Radioshack.

So its a nice color combo of a green blade with the white and blue leds which contrast with the dark gray and the blue powdercoat.

Man I'm lucky to have seen it in person! The pics are awesome but they can never do things justice. The pommel just blew me away when I saw it.
Sorry Tim, I might be going to Dacota's neighbor for mps.
