can i just put a mr vader in a modular hilt useing a lux 3 and if so what would i need to do it again sorry if it's been asked

Try reading the FAQ and Thread Index.

Yes, you can put a MR board in a MHS hilt with a 3 watter. There are wiring diagrams on the boards ;-)

Nagi, it might help to know that trying to fit an MR battery pack (6AA or 3AA) into an MHS will not be very easy without modification.

So, in order to get what you need, you may need to do the following:
* New battery pack
* New speaker
* Wire things correctly, as the MR pack would have just had pressure pins and such

Sadly, the links in the FAQ and Thread Index did not survive the forum upgrade. There's still some useful info in the FAQ, though.
