The TSCC parts used are Blade Holder 5, MHS/Sink tube adapter, machined Covertech button and a white Lux V. The tube is a metric sink tube (I live in Turkey, a metric country) made by ECA. The silver and bronze-green rings are curtain rail rings made by Bauhaus. When you remove the nylon clips from inside the rings they fit perfectly over the sink tube. The back end of the hilt is a Chinese-made flashlight. The pommel end is the front of the flashlight. I placed a toilet flush button in the end. It also fit perfectly. I cut away the nylon plunger and spring from the flush button and it left a hole that was perfect for the on/off switch - that's the yellow button in the end. This is in my opinion the best place to put the on/off switch because the activation box some people use gets in the way when dueling and twirling the saber. I plan to place white leather strips along the hilt. This will be the saber for my White Revan costume that you will be able to see at Jedi Con in Dusseldorf in March or on my photobucket album (user name is Ata-pala. No password required for browsing.) To make the sink tube adapter fit over the sink tube I had to freeze the tube to -20 and heat the adapter to +220. When they returned to room temperature the fit was so snug it was like they were welded together. I am a bit wary about drilling holes through the adapter's holes into the tube in order to atach the 8-32 screws so I'll leave them as they are.

That looks sweat. Can't wait to see it with the white leather. A white Darth Revan costume you say, that I want to see. Great job.

The saber seen with my White Revan armor in the costuming section is a non-working prop I made out of similar parts for a girl in Germany with an Atris costume. According to KOTOR2 TSL, Atris carries the saber she took from the Exile. The Exile was Revan's protegee, which is why both sabers are similar. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Thanks to everyone for their help and inspiration. Speaking of good ideas, where can I get heat shrink tubing large enough to fit a sink tube...

A couple of pics of my saber ignited:

GO TO WWW.MCMASTER.COM, SEARCH FOR HEAT SHRINK TUBING, ALTHOUGH THE SHIPPING TO TURKEY MAY BE A BIT STEEP.

http://cableorganizer.com/heat-shrink/heat-shrink3.htm They have it. You might want to get the kind with the adhesive already in it. I used spray glue with mine and it was a pain in the butt.

Thanks for the addresses. The adhesive lined stuff was just too expensive. I bought the regular stuff and the shipping was not too bad at all. I decided to buy 3' each of the stuff that shrinks to 1" and 1 1/2" That gives me enough to experiment with. Do I need a special heat gun or will a hair dryer suffice? Or perhaps I can just put the hilt in the oven...

I use a heat gun when i use the stuff, which is basicly just a indurtrial hairdryer. so a regular hairdryer may work.dont know about the oven though.... good luck. let us know how you make out.

another option to shrink it down is to boil it (obviously with out the electronics inside).

Metal expands when it heats up, when its cold it shrinks.

Do you read Hasid?

He is trying to shrink the Heatshrink. That shrinks when heated, as the name implies. Sliding it over the hilt and placing it in boiling water will shrink it.

Completed now, my White Revan Saber for Jedi Con 2008:

I went for TCSS grips and white leather on the hilt. The top saber is my first saber attempt - a flashlight with TCSS parts and a brown leather wrap.

The bottom saber is one I made from a sink tube with the pommel and blade holder provided by TCSS (Many thanks!) Look for the switch in the pommel. The hilt is leather. The LED is white so the TCSS colored lenses can be fitted. I made it for this girl - Mohmoh from Germany, the Next Top Model of Coruscant.

Thanks to everyone at TCSS for your support and encouragement. I came first in the costume competition at Jedi Con with the saber complementing the White Revan costume perfectly.
