Hi all, I was wondering wich blade to get Tims TCSS diffuser battle blade, Corbin style battle blade, or an Ultra sabers blade? Thanks for the help.

It depends on what you want.

If you want ultimate dueling capability, go with Tim's diffuser.

If you want the OT coring effect, go with Corbin's diffuser.

If you want superior evenness, get Xwingband's blade. It is more even that Ultra's.

That is my in depth comparison between the 4 diffusers. Scroll down until you see the post by Aluke123 with all the red saber pictures.

My first blade was the double wrapped "Corbin style" battle blade with the 1" OD. There are many threads in the forums discussing blade modification. After reading through many I took the following steps: 1) I sanded the inside of the blade tube. This removed that look you get of the inside being lit and still leaving a very noticable outside wall. I can't explain it well but the first time you light up an unmodified blade you'll know what I mean. After sanding the lit blade diameter looked bigger when lit and the light glowed on the entire outside surface. 2) I rolled several feet of clear wrap celophane and slid it inside the corbin double wrap. This seemed to diffuse the light nicely all the way up the blade and really corrected for the common complaint of a dimly lit middle section. I'll also restate the obvious because frankly it's often the obvious that's most overlooked... ignite your saber with fresh batteries. Makes all the difference.

Neither picture really does the in person appearance justice but it's obvious that there is no longer a dim middle section that you'll get from the stock, double wrapped blade. It's also extremely even from emitter to end tip. Look at the first picture from a slight angle for best effect of what it looks like in person.
