Greetings, I have a question could I use a yoda sound board for a saber. Because 1st I never turn the saber on 2nd the LEDs in the blade are dead, but the sound board still works. It will only be hanging up on the wall for display. Will this work? Thanks for the help it is greatly useful!

Yup. Just wire the sound card like any other MR sound card, and you'll be set.

Here is a basic diagram, showing how to wire the speaker and battery pack.

Thanks Lord Maul, although it is a shame to see little Yoda's lightsaber not be able to work but it'll be good for display. Plus I need a sound board and it isn't doing any good in there. All I need to know is who do I disasimble a Yoda fx saber? Thanks.

Ti El Terral did a disassembly tutorial on it. I can't find the link at the moment.

the yoda is a good board but the clash sensor is soldered to the led strip and not with the pigtail of wires, so you have to desolder the clash and solder it inline.

the only thing I found hard was the black knob. there is a ton of glue on and in the threads, I beleive it's metal but I had to use plyers to get it to budge but I also didn't want to mess it up.
