I'd say an MR the hasbro ones don't have any weight to them, theres no way you could actually hurt someone short of breaking the hilt on their head, and even then a fist would do better. An MR on the otherhand would be like getting beaten with a wieghted broomstick, a much better deterent.

A Hasbro saber really can hurt; the hilts on those things are like clubs; you could easily bludgeon someone to death with one. And the smaller, non-electronic ones can easily draw blood. I know a guy who actually got smacked in the face by a little kid with one of those, and it was BAD. Lol.

well I did say you could use the hilt as a bludgeon, but the blade is useless for self defense, the best you could do is make the knife wielding maniac angry.
