Best place for the hole

Hi, where would be the best place to put the thumbscrew hole on blade holder 5? im using a 8-32 setscrew so it needs alot of hold

I was wondering the same thing. I feel no matter where it is it will degrade the look of the emitter. I found a headless screw I’m going to use now so I plan to drill in the thick area just above the neck and the screw will be below the surface.

I have style 8 and that's what I did, drilled in the thick portion and used a set screw. looks heck of alot better then the thumb screw.

I done mine in the thin part of the neck using an allan screw, and still looks okay.

I dont know how you think a set screw will ruin the appearance of the saber. Pictures of the screw and blade holder would help, but my suggestion is to drill a hole in the thin part of the blade holder and use a very short set screw so its not visible from the outside.
