After some thought I decided to convert another MR yoda saber to replace the one I sold.
I decided to use a 3/4 inch blade instead of a 1 inch this time which allowed me to more closely match the Yoda emitter and I thought the 3/4 inch looked more in scale with the saber. I am currently using a 3/4 diameter 36 inch long Do-Clo blade on it and I think I will keep the length, it keeps those pesky Jedi from getting too close. I used a red 3 watt Luxeon led emitter mounted to a custom heatsink that I made. I replaced the green led on the center clamp with a ruby crystal which is more in line with the overall sith feel of the saber.

Nice! A dark yoda hilt is pretty cool.
You'd better not get in this guy's way,

I think that would be cool with a shorter blade and used as an off-hand secondary saber.

Hey Do-Clo.

Are you driving the LED off of the MR Board? I just got a Yoda Board and I want to drive my Lux III off of it (along with the sound obviously). Do you have a wiring diagram by any chance? I tried several wiring combinations to get the LED to light, but I haven't had any luck.

I really dig the Yoda Sith Saber, pretty Bad Ass!

Thanks, Psab

The led is driven off of the yoda MR board, it wires similar to the other MR sound boards.
