OK, here's some of the pics I took of Angelus and Barmic when we met up. Some I took to allow for "tracers" and others without - may photoshop some when I have the time. It was good, look forward to more of this in future. Cheers :D

I like this, it looks like the saber's burnt through the tree with those sparky bits. No idea what they actually are...

Barmic shrinks himself to half size to demonstrate his Yoda style Ataru acrobatics.

Great pictures! Mine turned out like poo, I couldn't figure out how to get the 'tracers' and my fingers were freezing holding the camera without gloves.
Next time I'll remember to read the manual for the camera before hand.

Very cool, guys! I love the tracer effect!

I've tried to do that, but got only mediocre results. What settings did you use on the camera?

Cold and dark isn't best for photos, for sure - Angelus, it's a shame they didn't come out - I think dusky twilight on a warm evening is probably best for photographing the sabers - a bit more comfortable to see what you're doing and experiment to find the right settings for what you're after.

I'm not sure what settings I used for the tracers, to be honest - I think I just had the camera on a fairly long exposure setting coz it was dark.

Obi Dar - if you have some manual settings on the camera and can putting it in manual or shutter priority mode and experiment with a slower shutter speed to get the blur/tracer effect. I think a little reading up and a lot of playing is the way to go :D

I managed to get some vids, but they're not great as I took them on my phone.

Will try & get them up (need to convert).

Just noticed the 5th pic. It looks like i'm thinking " If I can only get him over to that beartrap, this duel will be over..."
