alrighty guys and guyesses,

i need yer feedback on the one. this is my nephews vader style saber, which i've made for his christmas. this is the first complete saber that i've made from scratch. it was a bit of a pain doing the electronics and i hate activation boxes. but that being said i'm quite happy with the result. i'm sure the laddie will love it in any case. all comments most welcome

That's pretty darned awesome, Deadeye. I'm sure it'll knock your nephew's socks off!

Out of curiosity, does it have sound? Also, did you make the activation box yourself, or is it from another saber?

Great work, in any case!

I can't believe that that is scratch built. It looks like a machined piece. Great work Deadeye...Your nephew will love it.

I gotta give you props over here too deadeye. I love it every time I see it! 3w Red-Orange right?

If I ever make a sinktube saber I think I'll do what you did for grips, 'cause they just look awesome!
(BTW, so your not confused, this is Vash.)

alrighty,

GrimaOllak:- i made the activation box myself, not entirely happy with it, it was a little too tight to accept small leds. ce la vie
and sadly no it dosn't have sound, not enough room inside as its packed to the gunwales.

Lord Maul:- totally machined all over, i'm an engineer to trade, but no longer have access to industrial machinery, (working in QC now). so i made it on a small home hobby lathe.

37H4N:- lux 3 red, its probably my photography skills throwing you off. yeah the alu' grips are great, much more comfy than t bars. you also get the benifit of cool studs as a feature.

thanks for all the comments, i'm sure my next few will be a lot more detailed.

my kindest regards

wow very nice machine work, and i too love the grips. not a big fan of the vader t grip style. they look cool and menacing, but so not comfortable when ya start swinging that thing around.... great work
