That depends on the color...reds, ambers, and red/oranges are 1540 ma, the others, white, green, cyan, blue and royal blue are 1000 ma. Forward voltage is 2.95, and 3.9, respectively.

its a really ligt blue so im guessing cyan? and im using cf v1.2 so i just want to know what to set the current to it in the config, max i can so i can get max brightness out of it

CF v1.2 can yield about 1.3A maximum, so... try giving it about 1A for any Luxeon III "light side" (1000ma).

This means setting "ledcurrent=60" I believe.

Check the v1.2 pdf. That answers most all of the questions you're asking, pip.

yes its working, much better, still not as bright as i would like, guess my next step will be to get a k2 or a lux V

also i need to go to a 1inch blade, my graflex came already converted and only has a 3/4 inch blade, odd that someone would use such a skinny flimsy blade but oh well it does for now, i imagine different diffusers work better to, any recomendations on that?

Jay there uses 3/4" blades and he has no problem lighting them up.

Hasid's right, I have few 3/4" blades that light up fine. how long is it? I have found thatanything over 34" tends to really dim in the middle. Try that Dual-Core Diffusion method most of us have been doing by combining a wrap of Corbin's film (I use a double wrap) and about 6-8 feet of clear cellophane or polypropelene gift wrap. You'll see a world of difference!

my blade is 34inches. so do you mean to put the celophane insdide the film or outside?

i got no idea what they used for diffuser when they made my blade, i bought the saber already luxeon converted with blade off ebay, and the guy i got it from didnt know anything about the construction of it

Well, I'd take whatever is in it and toss it...order a double wrap, or a single wrap of Corbin film from the storen and install that. Then roll up the gift wrap and put it inside the corbin. There's a thread around here somewhere in the Led Blade Discussion on how to do it....

excellent, thanks ill do that, i still wanna go to a i inch blade tho, my 3/4 just looks to skinny for me, and its really flexible, bends a fair bit when hit
