Hey guys. I want a replica Vader saber without a blade. What's the best way to go about that? Get the MR FX saber and just de-blade it? I really don't need all the electronics and stuff I just want one i can display or wear on halloween or something. Any advice will be much-appreciated. Thanks guys

I'd see about getting a Heiland Flash cell, like the original ones used in the films. Then converting it.
It depends on what version you want aswell. I think the most common is the ESB version.

Silly question:

Why wouldn't you want the option of a removable blade?

They're just so much more fun.

I would go with Parks or making your own, or something. I don't like the idea of buying a ForceFX then just gutting it without any use. When I convert a saber, I prefere it to be broken and require a conversion. Thats just me though.

if you want just a belt hanger, and also have one thats close to accurate, then get a MPP or Heiland 3 cell, got to blast-tech get the convert kit, and you got your vader saber.

Actually, there is a belthanger version of Parks' MPP Saber w/o the electronics available at www.saberkit.com

Save some money over the EL version. even if you are going to convert to Lux later. They got the graflex, too. They are replica, but they look pretty darn good.

Just a thought.

Hey Brother-Sister,

I found this today, and remembered your question.

I don't speak German, so I'm not sure on all the details, but I think it might be what you are looking for. The price is not too bad.

Hope that helps.
