Hello alpine

Thatīs a topic that has been discussed several times in threads like this one (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=465&highlight=hilt+size)... Iīd say that an average hilt is somewhere between 10 to 12 inches.

Average seems to be about 12" to 13" but I do see many that appear to be about 9" to 10".

Its all about your book of preferance and what you plan on stuffing into the hilt.

Like my hilt It had to be the length that it is so I could fit everything.

It all comes down to personal choice.
Mine is around 12.5", but my bro uses a 10", we're about the same height & everything, but like I said PERSONAL CHOICE.

You have to measure the maglite chassis. You need to know inner and outer diameter (ID and OD for short). Maybe this piece (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/pc-654-33-mhs-to-15-sink-tube-adapter.aspx) could be useful, given the size would fit in your maglite. Measure and try

Already discussed in this thread (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1461&highlight=pli). Try to search a little bit more

the search feature doesn't work the greatest. check the wiring and cutaway schematics thread.

do you have acess to anyone who can machine custom parts for you? (im using a maglight also, but im using 1.25" sink tube for the housing and the mag for an outer shell)

Tim will make you a Mag saber adapter. He's done it for a few people. Dajoquim's saber uses one of Tim's pieces.

BTW, did you know that filtered cigarettes are WORSE for you than normal ones, because they put a ton more nicotine and tar in them?

lol cigs are the dumbest thing im addicted to, however to cover the cost of my saber addiction i have given them up

Hey thats not too bad. Very unique. In a different thread a couple of us were talking about my own "quit smoking for lightsabers" idea. Use the money you would be spending on smokes and put it in a jar for lightsabers. It equals out to be about 1 saber per 2 months based on smoking one pack every 2 days. I thought it was a good plan.

i had one of those pipe joint connectors on a obi style belt hanger i made up once, tore it apart, but i still got that connector part. i had a switch and 3 leds in the screw holes, the switch was momentary so i hi it and the leds did thier thing. looked cool.
