Ultrasound dead?

My overlord saber upon loading fully charged batteries either just flashes (no sound) or lights up with a ticking sound. I noticed a bad connection on the speaker which actually came off. I don't think I can sader it back on, so perhaps I should just by a new speaker. I had to remove the tape around the plastic chamber. Is was held together by electrical tape and this kind of grip tape. Its sticky on one side and kind of rubbery on the other to fit in the hilt snugly. Any advise on the proplem and specifically what kind of tape it is? Many thanks!

So you just need to re solder the speaker leeds back on?

Hootini, did you have a tracking number for your Overlord you sent me? If so PM it to me here or at FX.

Also, the tape that is used is standard electrician's tape. Nothing special or fancy about it, other than it likes to leave sticky crap all over your wiring... :twisted:
