Hey everyone, I just wanted to share this with you guys. My paint on the maul emitter started to wear so I went ahaed and took a brass brush to it and gave it a weathered look, I also decided to give the middle grip 3 coates of plasti dip from a spray can. So here are some pics and please post your thought on it and maybe what you have used.

Pritty cool, I would take a brush of sorts to the painted center area to keep with the weathered look.

Yeah that sounds good, I kinda thought about that, and its not paint its plasti-dip. Basically rubber in a can. You spray 3-4 coates and you have a rubberized grip.

Scuff it up maybe?

Another thing I would do is is weather up the buttons a bit and add some more scraches in places.

I remember seeing on the force fx forums that someone made theres end cap for the "damaged" saber look like it was actually damaged.

But it looks good.

Yeah I used to burn the pommel with a lighter then clear coat it but it wears off to easily, I also tried some flat black paint but its starting to wear to, but it does look cool. 8)
