Here is my first attempt at sink tube. The hilt is a drain fitting. Blade holder a PVC threaded fitting nested in the drain. The drain "prongs" made a great way to hold the mono jack. I made two. A blue for Obi John Kenobi and a Pink one for my daughter. Hey, even fairies need a lightsaber.

For being built on the cheap it really isn't too bad. I would like to see something similar in a longer version. In my opinion, I think it would look alot cooler if the blade were shown through the slots near the emitter end. Maybe paint the pommel a chromish color. That would be a cool lookin saber.

That's great work. alot of my sabers use the good ol phoenix handle.

I seriously intended on putting in "ports" on the emitter, but the hilt was so short I had to end the blade right at the ports. All you would see is the mono plug and a little bit of EL wire.

My last experience with chrome paint was a disaster so I went for the satin black (Krylon Fusion Rocks!).

Blade is shade over 2 feet.

I think it looks great, very much a youngling saber.
