Well, I've been lurking the forum for some time now & thought it was time for my first post. This is my first serious attempt at building a 'saber, there have been many attempts over the past 30 years..... yes I said 30. My very first was a chrome pipe with a blue golf tube.... I was 9.

Anyhow ... here is what I'm working on

This is the usual chrome sink pipe, a replica microflash clamp, and 3M automotive trim for the grips. Just waiting for my parts from TCSS and a machined aluminum ROTJ Vader 'saber shroud to complete.

I'm going to use a luxeon III, hasbro sound board and a speaker from TCSS.

As far as design, my hilt is going with elements of Vader's ROTS & ROTJ, a little of Luke's in ANH, and some of my own. Well thats the plan for now... things could change :D
