Converting an FX saber

Does anyone know how I would make an FX saber to be able to have a "removable" blade? What about changing the color? Thanks

Look in the Conversion forum if you scroll down. There are tutorials stickied and most of the common ones are there.

Changing color you could obtain another strip or do a luxeon conversion... all are much better addressed in that forum.
