Hey guys, im thinking of getting the Heiland head piece replica, but i want to make sure im able to do a few things with it.

first-will this fit over "Screw on LED blade holder style 1" snug?
second- is it possible to sand down the little piece to make the "3 claw MHS mount" fit over this head piece?

thanks

I always thought it was a rubber piece that needed to be painted.

No its a solid part that needs to be painted, But no it wont fit snug it needs to be shimed with a piece of ah 1.5" sinktube.

Sorry to contradict but to quote from the item description in the shop:
"The parts are made of a high impact polyurethane resin. The piece should be washed using a grease cutting detergent such as "Dawn" dish washing soap to remove traces of mold release prior to painting. Fits great on 1.5" sink tubes and the MHS."

Sorry to contridict but if it fits over a 1.5 sinktube its not gonna fit snug over an mhs.

Argue the point if you must, but it's what Tim wrote for the store. I'm going to assume he knows if it fits or not.
