This is my first attempt at making a lightsaber. Still waiting for my electronics and blade from the store so I'll update pics when I'm done.
I finally decided to take the dremel to it.

Very Dark Forces style. I like it, in a cobbled-together kinda way.
Can't wait to see it Lux'ed up!

Yeah, I have alot to add to it, but Im waiting till I get my electronics in before I do any more additions cosmetically. :D
Also, because of my limited experience with this, it's gonna be an EL blade. Sorry guys didn't know any better when I ordered.

Well you could alwase take the el stuff and setup it up for a display kinda thing.

I was thinkin about makin this one just display hehe, or make it a lamp lol. My next endeavor should look cooler, and it'll be LuxIII.

I'd be abit flashy with the EL & maybe run abit through the terminal blocks, that could really work!

I was thinking of taking short pieces of blue and red wire along the sides ,and doing sort of a weave pattern. We'll see what happens.

Just got all my EL parts in today. I'm gonna start putting everything together a little later. I'll post pics in about 3-4 hours or less. I have things to do. lol
