Hello, I'm new too

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, although I've done a bit of lurking and used some of the tutorials here. I just finished my first luxeon saber (green K2) and I'm very happy with it; I imagine TCSS will be getting more business from me soon. I'm part of a stage combat club and while we mostly use swords, we've done a bit of saber dueling, so my saber will get quite a bit of use I think.

Here it is -- very much a hardware saber.

Previously I've made one hilt-only saber, with just a normal flashlight inside. It's pretty short and meant to be held with just one hand. I like the shape and feel of it a lot and I may end up modifying it to work with an LED.

Welcome I don't know you but I come from a similar background used to be part of a Live Steel Mercenary Guild at the Rennaissace Faire's. The best part of L.Saber Dueling is they work great in total darkness. 8)
