View Full Version : Double Darth Maul Specs Needed?

Hello I am in the process of making an all PVC Practice Double Hilt for training and could anybody give me the Hilt and blade lengths of the MR/FX Darth Maul Saber? 8)

Thank You Dregan I can totally wait, unfortunately I don't own a F/X Maul but I was measuring PVC Pipe I had on hand and the 1" Pipe is a the closest size to the 1.5" Hilt Dia and the 3/4" Pipe is really close to the 1" Blade Dia. I am planning on putting screw together pieces in the middle so it can come apart, my friend just doesn't have the $ right now but at least this will let him be able to practice. :wink:

Going off the top of my head on this, but I believe totally put together the entire blade and hilt is 87" end to end. And each hilt is right around 12", so with the spacer in there to connect them I believe the hilt to be 25".

each blade is 33 1/2 inches long
each hilt is 10 1/4 inches long
the double hilts are roughly 21 inches long

Hey Jetsi thanks for your efforts and you were very close, I have already built it and now just finishing up the painting, I am really trying to make this not look like plastic. I will post pic's when finished. :wink:

total length is 7 foot i read several places.

Thank You everybody for your help on this Project I finished it Friday Night and has already been to 2 practices and I managed to balance it by putting 1" Dia Threaded Rod in the hilts so with the extra weight it gives you a good workout so here are the pics. pictures:
