what glue or adhesive would work best for putting the shouldered tips on a polyc blade? i had the old tip and it broke, bought a new one and it and dont want it falling off. is there anything better than using jb weld?

Weld On #3 is the best glue for putting on tips

Blech... JB weld would be awful for it.

You want one that works for plastics.. and beyond just holding them together. A good plastics glue like Weld-on actually bonds the two pieces.

Most good ones are liquids. Stay away from epoxies and "super glues".

JB Weld is awful and although it shows up as a black blob, its very very very very very strong.

But you could just save yourself the time and money and buy weld on 3

This is probably off topic but where do you get the stuff. Lowes or Wal-mart or something.

Where ever you can... It's hard to find but that's why I describe what it's like. There are a few like it. I've heard of Pro-weld...

I have a very local source so I really don't worry, but once you get a can it will last you a VERY long time. Between my #3 can and #16 tube I haven't bought any in two years.
