I don't think it's possible without switch, speaker and sensor wires.

I've never heard of a Hasbro board only having 3 wires coming from it. Can you possibily take a picture of your board? Which saber is it from?

iv just thought it might not be just a sound board it might be a driver already. so iv fixed it up to my lightsaber and it works! but it gets very hot even if i dont switch it on. i put the batterys in and within a second its hot enough to burn myself on. then if i leave it it starts smoking.

iv been fiddling with it all morning burned myself 6 times and it still gets hot,. any help would be great.

Can you possibly make your signature pic a bit smaller? It takes up almost my whole screen.

The board is getting hot even when it's turned off? That's not good. you've got something wired up wrong. How many batteries are you using? It's sounds like you have too much voltage going to the board, as well. What did that board come out of? If it's an older board, you don't want to go over 4.5 volts with it. The newer ones can handle 6 volts, but no more, or you'll fry the board.

i think you could be right cause it is quite old and im running it on four AAA batteries. im pretty sure it came from a 2001 anakin lightsaber.

If that's the case, you're probably running too many volts through it. It was designed to run on 3 volts from 2 C batteries. Try running it on three AAA batteries and see how that works. Take one out of the holder and replace it with a wire to make the connection.
