Sorry for double post but forgot to menchin I'm scaling it down to 25 inches so it will be the perfect size saber for me. Last I got this image from thesitharchives.com and the original size of the saber is supposed to be about 32 inches.

Do you realize that you're spelling "mention" phonetically? :?

I think that you should make the emitter smaller cos it looks a bit like a dual sided spoon(no offence). if its gonna be made out of 1.5 sink tube or something big enough to fit electronics then make the emitter smaller

I agree with Kinchar on that one. Unless you want to look like a huge lego, a smaller emitter would IMHO be better looking.

Oh, and I agree with J-Lo, check the spelling. I speak french and can post better english then that.

Yeah it's the guardian from jedi academy. If you would like chase when I get done with this one I'll send you a list of parts I used and how I put them together if you want me to. Once I get this one done I'm moving on to the vanquisher. Once I get that I'll move on down the list like so. Vindicator, avenger, champion. That's the double hilts. Ain't decided what order I'll make the single hilts in. Eventually I'll have all the jedi academy hilts plus the katarn, reborn and desann. That's all from academy I'll make anyway. Here's a picture of the saber I plan on making after the guardian. This is the vanquisher

Obviously I'm customizing the length so they'll be the perfect size for me. Anyway those are good suggestions, I have a design I'm working with for now and it's working good so far.

Im in bulgaria at the moment and theirs lots of fishing rods with handles similar to that design and theyre quite long and thick hollow handles so a fishing rod handle (strangely) would be suitable for that design , lol

Wouldn't happen to have a pic of the rod would you.

Spoon-sabers?

Pho-en-e-tic spelling? What have I missed?

I always liked the JA sabers (well, most of them).

Good luck with that & keep us posted on progress.

Kinchar, did you get to CE?

The rods look very close to the hilt design of the vanquisher but I don't think I can use them. I'll manage using conventional parts from here. If I need to I can email acerocket for a part or something. Thanks anyway. Well the guardian is doing good still. Currently working on some final details with acerocket on my parts I need. Once I get those I'll only need a few tiny things and then I can put it all together after about 2 or 3 years. I've wanted to do these hilts since jedi academy came out and finaly I can. I'll post pics when I get each hilt done and keep you all up on my progress.
