7W Luxeon!?

ITs a 7w luxeon they say. when on earth did they make a 7W led?

The three-AAA version of that same flashlight is in my belt holster as I type this. It isn't a true 7-watt, realistically, more like a 5. It's not a Lux, either. I haven't torn into it to pull the star out, but I'm thinking that the back would be stamped with Cree or Seoul.

All that having been said, this flashlight is amazingly bright. 130+ lumens, easy. It's one of the brightest production lights I know of, and very well constructed.

(I prefer the AAA setup as I frequently find myself where regharging isn't feasible, and I can pick up AAA batts at any gas station)
