They spend millions on something and they use cell shading graphics? how crap. Looks like a good story could come out of this.

So this is the other show they were talking about not to long back.

Only a few of the shots appear to be cell shaded, the Leia R2 scene and the 3PO Mon Mothma scene in particular. The rest seem like standard 3d animation. I think perhaps it was just the video quality playing tricks on us.

This is a fan project... It's not a lucas project. Why in the world is this suddenly floating around like wildfire?

I guess it just appears to have such a high production value that it's hard to imagine this being a fan project. The ships look especially good. Perhaps someone from Lucasfilm should offer these guys a job.

perhaps that's why they made it in the first place. to get a job from lucas.

The first tell to me is that there is no lucasarts copyrights ANYWHERE. LFL would have that plastered all over the stuff.

Also... why would they host on youtube? They'd pay to host it personally and lock it in so it couldn't be taken to other sites.

I'm still loving it though.
Not too sure about the female-jedi, but the rest looked so cool!! Interdictor cruiser!!! WOOT!!!!

the female jedi were leia and mara

Mara was obvious, but i'm sure that wasn't Leia. You saw her with R2.
The chick in the Vid had a cyan saber, leia had red.

Also, WTF is Mace Windu doing there? Electro-falling-from-great-height- related instances of death are usually fatal! Unless the guys making this were just showing what they could do, Mace Windu is Very VERY dead!

X-wing was right, no LFL logo anywhere, so probably is fake. I'd still watch it though.
Theforce.net think it may be an add for a Fan Film.

It's been confirmed, this IS a fake.
I'm sure i'm not the only one a little disappointed at this news, but at least we can always rely on Family Guy to raise our spirits.......

We don't get G4 over here unfortunately.
Hopefully History channel will find time in their packed schedule about shipwrecks to air the show.

Thats unfortunate about g4. A while back they did a bit about the NY CC, and NYJedi were there. It was pritty sweet watch.
