Hi, I'm new to the Saber World, just wondering is it possible to create your own blade holder from a sink tube. If so, how would i go about doing it?

Unless you are really good with tools you can save yourself a lot of grief and headaches by purchasing the mhs setup from the customsabershop.com

okay, are there any other places than here that have blade holders? Just wondering and trying to get a good idea of what's available. lol, i found this through google so i don't know of much else other than the ultra sabers shop on ebay and they don't have a lot.

Take your time and look around.
But I've been making lightsabers for awhile and I can tell you that TCSS is the best place if you want to do it yourself.
A simple MHS kit with your sink tube is the cheapest way to get a really good custom saber.

Thanks a lot! This answers pretty much all my questions. May the gray side be with you both.

Oh, one last question, for anyone who would know. What specific thumbscrews do I need and how many of each?

an 8-32 thumbscrew will be fine for you, and you'll only need one
