Someone who purchased a saber we made is asking if there's a way to program the NB4 to stay on longer? They're using it in a production and it's shutting off too quickly. I've looked over the manual on programming the SD card, but can't find anything that pertains to an auto-shutoff. Does anyone know what would prolong the unit staying on?

Stay on longer how? After they turn it off? Or are they complaining about the runtime?

He's asking if there is anyway to turn off the timer for how long the blade stays on. I've never tested it long enough to see it shut off. Is he mistaken?

Again, are we talking about after he turns it off using the power button? If that is the case, it IS covered in the manual.

Otherwise, the saber works just like a normal flashlight, it stays on until either: 1. It’s turned off by the user OR 2. The battery drains.

No, it's keeping the light and sound on without shutting down. He's using it for a film and after a while being turned on (and recharged) it shuts off.

Well, either he is wearing the battery down, or his setup is drawing too much power from the battery. Since “after a while” hasn’t been defined with minutes, it has to be that OR he has a bad/poor battery that isn’t getting/keeping a full charge.

What time of blade is it? (high power LED? pixel?)
How long is the blade able to stay illuminated?
What kind of battery is in it?
What color blade? (solid R, G or B would be most efficient, mixed colors like purple, cyan, yellow will be more, white is the most)

A mixed color pixel blade is going to be the shortest run time, while a single color HP LED will be the longest.
