Chassis for Ribbed Extension

I am planning to build a sound saber using the Ribbed Extension MHS part. I wanted to use the MHS chassis parts, but it looks like those parts will not fit in the ribbed section. What is a good alternative?

I found that even the v6 works if you cut off the speaker part and sand the main part slightly.

Thanks! I may ask to get a chassis ring custom made... speaking of custom made, is it possible to have the MHSV1 parts that I have chosen made to the MHSV2 dimensions?
