I have a Dynaohm resistor for a 12mm illuminated AV switch and I want to know is it safe to cover the entire resistor in heat shrink. I have the same question for the rectangular ceramic resistors as well. Are there any resistors that TCSS currently sells that should not be covered in heat shrink?

Thanks in Advance

No resistor should be covered in heat shrink. They dissipate power as heat.
