Here's an insanely cheap one that you probably throw away everyday.

Take a lid from a 16.9 oz bottle (usually water), trim the threads out of it with a knife or razor blade and snap on.

Cool idea! I don’t think I’d use one, but very inventive.

Much more elegant than the blue painter’s tape I’ve been using!

Greenie got it, just glue a bit of clear plastic to the end. The you can just glue a scrap of the gift wrap you probably used as a diffuser then trim it down.

I typically do not glue my dust caps on my blades. (Got to take it off to use the blade!)

I think the pictures are getting people thinking this if for a blade plug.

;)

It comes from reading books with pictures and no words  Kidding aside, people tend to look at pics vs reading text it seems these days.

What I'm talking about is just gluing a bit of the clear gift wrap to the open end. Then you don't even need a dust cap because your blade is sealed and the one little bit of gift wrap is inconsequential to the operating of your fancy flashlight. It so simple once I did it I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of it earlier. I do also have a collection of chair leg caps etc that I've used in the past.
