Introduction and situation

Hello, everyone. My name is Marco and I'm from Portugal.

I got here, due to research I did after winning my first Lightsaber in a bet.
It's from Master Replicas (2005), Anakin FX SW-208.
It has a catch, the friend I won it from, didn't care for it at all and the batteries blew inside and the battery holder is in pretty bad shape.

If it'd be possible, I'd like to ask for help here, so see if it can be fixed.

It can mostly likely be repaired, and can certainly be upgraded.
