They are functional....not show pieces....they are used....not set up on shelves.....do i need to explain more in depth for you?

I'ts a shame that Bodi is either a fraud or is still waiting for a patent because if you could get ahold of his blade technology for your show that would be friggin awesome just like watching a SW movie with special effects an all.

Ahh, lets not bash the guy. However improbable it may sound, if he has actually come up with something it will probably be quite a while until we see it. Let's let his name rest in peace until he posts again...

Great looking bunch of sabers nova! Are they all Lux's? I'm looking at the fourth from the left in the group shot... is it really that narrow or does the pic just make it look that way?

They are, watch the movie/play. Even the pic shows.

The latest saber... not sure what to name it yet, but something like "Abysmal" or "Magnus".

TCSS "Claw" emitter
FX sound
custom speaker that is really great!
Li-Ion 3.6v w/ recharge port

This may be used in BOP III... but I'm not sure yet. :)

This is a Plecter saber... it MIGHT make it into Balance of Power III... but that is a long while from now...

Much more work to be done on this. We'll see how it goes. Should be ready for C4... ;)[/list]

Alexandra Novastar's newest saber. I wanted to give her a royal blue color from the beginning, but never found the time until about 2 months ago. So this is "Seriphica II".

You'll note that it's a TCSS emitter mounted into a Mace "bottom". The other Seriphica had the Mace TOP and a LUKE bottom... happy Frankensabers!!! LOL.

The initial "flash" photos make it look Cyan, but as we all know photos don't really tell the story unless you have some super-uber quality camera. I don't. Also, I may change the blade film to something else to bring out the royal blue. I love Corbin film, but it may not be as great for this saber since the blue isn't being driven all that well from the FX board/driver... at least that's the guess.

The original Cyan-colored Seriphica was nice... but this one offers a better choke point and "prettier" color for Dani. She likes it better anyhow...

Very nice! I like the fact you can see the guts through the grip area

Thanks Ravage... I did that on purpose design-wise...

I thought it would be a bit cooler, but maybe I should have done a "greebly" LED in there. Hmm. But every time I try that in the design stage--I end up running out of room. Probably because I hate making saber hilts that are longer than 12" and prefer ones that are 10 or 11" actually.

Here are the final photos of "Flange 3" although I'm not sure if it will go into usage for BOP III.

It certainly won't be there for BOP II.

What is this snow spray stuff? and where do you get it?

Novastar

By the way everyone, regarding the snow spray... it actually makes a pretty cool effect by spraying it on the poly-blades! Go figure.

I'll post some photos when I get the chance and experiment more. My guess is it would go best with an ultrablade or TCSS one, but I tried it on a corbin blade and it looks neato too.
