Recharge Port?

Hi Everybody! So I have one (yes one) of my sabers ready to go and I have two different recharge ports that I ordered. One is here and one set is still on the way. The one I have currently only has 2 legs instead of 3 legs I keep seeing in the tutorials and in the manuals....So my question is this...Can I just wire the negative of the recharge to BOTH the negative of the battery and the negative of the soundboard? Or do I need that third leg to stand on? (haha) I just dont want to fry anything in the saber right when I am working on it but It seems about right to me? Would a kill key still work with just the two legs? Any info on this would be much appreciated thanks guys!

You can wire both the battery and board negatives to the one on your recharge port, but you risk running the charge current through the board that way, which could result in damage to your sound board.
