NBV3 first install issue

I recently did my first install. I used an NBv3 board. When I activate the saber, the leds do not light and tge only sound is a clicking with a whistle-like noise (one click for each button push). So far I have tested the tri-cree after wiring the leds. The battery has been charged through the recharge port. The illuminated a/v switch lights up when the kill key is removed from the port (no boot up sound). I have checked to make sure that the SD card has been fully inserted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just nosing around the NBv3 manual I saw this:
"Q: what’s the meaning of the beeps when the module starts.
A: it means that a file is missing or hasn’t been found. It can be the boot sound, or the configuration files. Three beeps generally mean that many important files haven’t been found"

If you're not getting a boot sound, and you atre hearing clicking from the speaker, you likely have something shorted in the wiring, or something is wired incorrectly.
