No, you don't need to be portraying a particular character, you just need a Legion-approved "Formal/Canon" costume, which mine is. That's for an official lucas-film sponsored event, but what I meant was, I haven't gotten to a Legion event yet, which you just need an approved costume for, which can be an informal/non-canon custom costume. You looka thrilled in that pic, Da-Jo! Isn't that hermle, our LCJ Jedi expert there in the x-wing outfit? I haven't met him yet, but it looks like him.
