I already have the batteries and a blade that will fit so they won't be necessary. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forums. Your list looks good to me. Good luck with the build and MTFBWY.

Ok because I was viewing the tccs tutorial video and it mentions a rebel optic holder but the only one I could find on the site isn't the same one as in the video. It technically should be the same thing right?

Yes. That's the one you want. I missed that when viewing your list.

Looking at your list and the harness link you posted... I wonder how do you plan on connecting all your parts? If you check out the harness picture, all the wires end with little red terminals (JST plugs). None of the other (electronic) components in your wish list have this.

One possibility, you could buy some fairly inexpensive JST plug kits (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-connector-kit-male-and-female--P941.aspx).

Or if you are unsure of your ability to crimp tiny plugs onto equally small wire, you could instead go for something like these wires (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/JST-Connectors-C127.aspx) with JST plugs already attached. Suppose you buy the 26G green w/ female plug for instance, all that would be needed is to solder the 2 wire ends to your speaker, and the plug would connect direct to the matching male plug with green wires on the NBv3 harness.

This is thee last idea I can think of. If you're sure you have enough wire and don't want to mess with JST plugs, you could cut them off the harness, then simply solder wires directly between the NB & other parts of your saber (switch, battery, led, speaker).

Umm, when I first started typing my post, I was certain there was mention of wanting or needing a NB wiring harness...
After I hit the submit button, it seems to have vanished. Am I losing it? Have I stayed up too late?

You're not losing it TwinMill. There was a mention of a wiring harness earlier.

The wiring harness isn't necessary, but it can make things a little easier in some setups.

I'll admit I've thought about getting the prewired NBv3 just to eliminate the worry on that. Been quite a many moons since I've soldered circuit boards.
