MANY sabers are built using extensions and adapters as the main body. There are a ton of those to play with in the builder.

That's correct. The main body parts are nothing more than 7" Double Female parts with a switch hole in them (and occasionally some decorative grooves). You can build a saber with or without a main body piece.

I have built 2 full MHS sabers and have yet to use a "main body". I used a double female and a ribbed on one and just a double femal on the other. Yeah with MHS you have nearly endless possibilities.

as long as you have a matching number of female and male ends, you can mix and match pretty much anything you want.
