Do I need a Power Xtender™ 2.0 for Foc, or can I just build the circuit myself?

It seems like a simple set up, I might be wrong but It seems that the board just serves to make the install easier? Plecter Labs dosen't have them in stock for another 2 weeks so I'm considering it.

Which soundboard are you using? What exactly are you planning to do?

A lot of the boards have them built in nowadays, so it's possible you won't need one.

It is a simple enough setup though. So long as you pick appropriate parts, you can certainly build your own. Pretty sure it's just a MOSFET and a resistor. No idea on the specs, you'll have to figure that one out yourself.

you do not need power extenders with the CF 8.0, they are already built into the board.
