How to make a good resonance/acoustic chamber?

Hello all!

I'm planning a saber and I'm about placing the speaker. I decided to use a bass speaker from the shop but I read a lot about the importance of the resonance... Despite of this, I can't find any information about "how to design" a good and efficient chamber.

And I don't want to dive in some mystical physics books I would take ages to read with no hope in eventually understanding anything.

So, have you advices or rule of thumbs? :D

A couple simple rules:

1. Make sure you have a good seal around the speaker. Keep the front air away from the back air.

2. You want about an inch of space in front of the speaker inside the hilt. Don't put the speaker right up against the end of the pommel.

Everything else is going to be "adjust as necessary".

I'm making a complex shaped saber chassis using 3D printer. It's quite hard as the 28mm speaker is very close to the MHS inner walls :) I'll do my best to follow these advices ;)
