Chassis+electronics shield?

Hey guys, just a little question:
So I think i heard that the electronics shield from the shop fits over the chassis disks. But when looking at the diameters it doesn`t at all: So do they or do they not?
I am sorry if I just confused something or whatever. Thank you for your advice! ;)

I haven't used the shield before but I would say probably not without modification to the discs.

That said, I don't see why you would need the shield when using discs. The discs keep the board in place. The only time I recall seeing a shield used was in one of madcow's videos, but he was using the V6 speaker holder as a chassis.

The shield and the chassis discs are not compatible. The shield is indeed intended to be used either by itself when stacking a soundboard on top of a battery, or in conjunction with the V6 speaker/battery/soundboard holder.
