Hey, I wanted to know if the machined covertech knob is coming back, and if so, when? I also wanted to know how much better the machined knob is than the one included with the belt clip. Is it worth waiting for the machined knob, or will the regular one work?

No eta yet. The nice thing about the machined is it is curved to fit the 1.5" tubes.

Also i riveted mine to the Tube and it is unbreakable, I have worn it over 12hrs at a time and is so much better than plastic.

Ah. Well, I've got three or four friends (including myself) who want to make our sabers ASAP, and we want to use the covertech clips. What should we do?

Use the plastic knob until I get the metal ones. They will work fine and you will be able to reuse the same hole to mount the machiend ones.

Hey Tim,
Dont mean to bother you but do you have an idea when the metal covertech knobs might be coming back?
Thanks

Like Tim said above, already, "no eta."

In case you don't know, "eta" means: estimated time of arrival.[;)]

Yikes, so it was. My appologies, if I sounded.....not wholly friendly. That was not my intention.

Definitely an awesome knob. I used it on the EL saber I built for my fiance. I've just ordered the parts for an LED saber, and am waiting for that to arrive. I hope to get ahold of another machined knob soon, as they not only work better than the plastic version, they look a heck of a lot better too!!

Yep, it is a sweet button and hopefully Tim will get a million of those puppies in sometime soon.

Welcome to the boards by the way.
