MR Luke pommel with MHS saber...

I was wondering, is the ID of the Luke pommel big enough to accomodate an MHS hilt section inside it? Essentially have the luke pommel sandwiched in between a plain main hilt section and an MHS pommel? I know the sound hole would probably have to be enlarged, but is this possible? Here's what I'm trying to do...

actually JR you can't with the way he wants to do it. I think he wants the luke pommel to essentually slide completely onto an mhs section and have an mhs pommel hold the luke pommel on. you could if you machined out some material on the luke pommel/

machine out the threading on the luke pommel or just enlarge the hole at the end? I'm asking this because someone wants to know how to make a KOTOR Revan saber. This seemed like it would work, but not having the parts in hand, I couldn't say for sure. Any other ideas on how to make this saber look decent would be appreciated.

the mhs just fits inside the luke pommel. you would have to machine out the end of the pommel where the speaker grill sits.
