Locations area?

Saw a post the other day that made me think/wonder if it would be worthwhile to have a locations "category" on these boards... Maybe by state or city. Not sure if this has come up before or if it's allowed- realistic- etc.... But might be nice to coordinate or even get together with neighbors. Just a thought.

There used to be a User Map that showed everyone's location on Google Maps, but it broke in one of the forum software updates. Last time I looked at it when it was still working, forum members were scattered all across the globe, with the majority in the U.S.

You could always start a "Any saber builders near xxx?" thread to see who is around you. I seem to recall seeing something like that recently.

If you look at the forum index (http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/index.php) for the Rebel Legion, the geographic break-out forums out-weigh the "technical" content 6 to 1. That seems like a lot of manage.

I do wish the map was working. It would be fun to see the distribution.
