Crystal Focus 8 with PEX and single cell wiring diagram

So Im about to start wiring up the CF8 & Pex extender board...I hacked the board for single cell use (for the sake of space) and wanted to know if this wiring diagram that I found for a CF7.5 will work.
Im running an RGB Tri Cree Xpe2 and an RGB common cathode LED crystal chamber Light.
I noticed that this diagram is set up for a 7.4 dual cell...so before I go frustrating myself...let me know if this will work.

I'll be running 2 momentary switches...an on/off and an auxiliary

If not, please correct me as to what I need to change in order for it to all work

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the CEx requires a 7.4V power supply. Try using pseudo colour mixing or use a smaller cell so you can fit two in (ie 16340).
