View Full Version : NBV3 and FOC resistors

Ok, so the title about says it all. I am getting ready to wire up my first NBV3 with FOC. I have wired plenty of V2 but never with FOC.

My question is, do I just use the same resistor on the FOC LED as I would if it were the main blade? For example, I am using white as my FOC. If I were using it as my main blade, I would put a 1ohm 2w resistor on it. Would I use this same resistor for the white being used as FOC or does the FOC require a different resistor? I know this does not need a PEX board but I never used a PEX board before either so I have no basis for comparison to build off of.

In a nut shell: does anything change in the resistor calculation for the FOC LED?

Thank for any help you guys and gals can offer.

Nothing changes for the FoC led, use what you came up with in your math.

Thank you. That was kind of what I gathered from the manual, but I did not want to assume and be wrong.
